Born and educated in the Netherlands, I moved to the United Kingdom in 1993 and built a successful career in the software industry. In the UK we also became a family, and raised a boy and a girl. 

In 2017 we moved to the US and today my husband and I are happy empty nesters. 

I still work in the software industry having become VP of a global software company. 

Our base in New England gives us snow in the winter, beach in the summer and a great base from which to travel and explore.
